IGFA New Jersey Representative Striped Bass Seminar
Capt. Gene Nigro of the charter boat Phantom, Capt. Erwin Heinrich of the charter boat Scales and Tales, and Capt. Pete Barrett, noted writer and striped bass fisherman, will share their decades of striped bass trolling knowledge at an IGFA-sponsored how-to seminar set for Wednesday night, October 10th at the Middletown, NJ, Knights of Columbus.
Three unique presentations will answer all the questions you've always wanted to ask for catching striped bass during the fall season. Learn the secrets on deep trolling umbrella rigs, shad rigs, bunker spoons, big plugs, deep-diving plugs, parachute bucktails, and deep jigging techniques with diamond jigs and bucktails. These three renowned experts will discuss tides and moon phases, trolling patterns, tackle rigging, and finding striped bass on the best structure. You'll learn the time-tested strategies used by the pros, including the latest new methods that will help you catch more striped bass this fall.
Admission is $10 ($5 for spouses and juniors under 16) and every attendee will receive a free one-year IGFA E-Membership, brochures, booklets, catalogs and magazines from On the Water and The Fisherman. Valuable door prizes include rods and reels, lures, charter trips, line and more.
The seminar will be held October 10, 2012, from 7 to 10 pm at the Middletown Knights of Columbus located on Highway 36, off of exit 117 on the Garden State Parkway. Come early for a good seat. Refreshments, light snacks and hot dogs will be available from the Knights of Columbus. All proceeds benefit IGFA's Junior Angler Programs.
