Daily Fishing and Outdoor Report

I'm bringing a couple of friends down to LBI on Saturday for a day of surf/jetty fishing. Normally, I'd walk across the street from our house and fish the north end of Surf City, but that's obviously out of the question for now. As an alternative, I was thinking about trying the Barnegat Inlet South Jetty. Anybody have any decent reports from thereabouts for Blues/Bass/etc.? Or thoughts in general? Been a while since I fished the inlet. Thanks.

Bluefish, bluefish and yet again more bluefish. I can pretty much assure them along much of the jetty -- with a slight chance of a striper. The main action will be all the way out at the horn -- far east end. It gets slippery out there.

I was nailing bass at first light there, and on the beach groins on plastic til the temps took a nose dive Sunday. Should warm back up fast now. Like Jay Say...Lots-O-Blues.

if your friends havent fished the rocks before that might not be a good idea.why dont you try coast ave.nice cuts north and south of that street.if you dont have beach buggy its not a far walk.bass and blues have been caught there recently. brian d.
