Saturday, November 07, 2009: Waves: Small south swell.

It sure wasn’t yesterday out there. The ocean looked similar on the surface but the bunker were not showing just below. In fact, they were no-shows in many areas. With the weekend angler masses out there, a fair number of bass came to the scales but they were that entry-level zone, with a couple nicer ones mixed in. See lbift.com. hey jay just like to let all the new yokers know that fluke regs are finalized 4 fish at 20 1/2 in. may 15th to sept 1st and that the striper fishing off staten island has been awsome ive only had one short in the last month with the biggest going 39in 30lbs

Jay, fished hard this weekend so hard my muscle began to seize up on me sunday night making it impossible to continue fishing. junk fish in the surf at BB on clam and mullet, tried for kings no takers. moved to BI caught a hudge ray on a flat lined mullet. then at dark saw a few keeper weaks caught but i couldnt stay anymore to fish
