Thanks. The power that fish displayed on its initial run was just jaw dropping. It almost spooled an Shimano Tiagra 80W with 20+ pounds of drag on it. Robb had a classic line as this was happening, "I see metal!", referring to the open expanse of metal we were seeing in the reel. I'll remember that for a long time, as well as the fish jumping and swimming by the boat. Hope I get to see a few more blue marlin before my fishing days are over. You'll have to check out the video we got.

No kingfish when I was on vacation the beginning of August, but managed a few small blues. That was good enough when you are out there with a 5 year-old! Still, I wonder what happened to the kingfish this year.
