BASS AT SCRAP VALUE: To say that boat bassing has been good is like saying gold is simply shiny – and not up to $1100 an ounce.
The tales I’ve gotten about stripering near the inlets have been up there in the ionosphere, which I’m pretty sure is really high.

Mon. Nov. 23, 09: Wind again -- and again.

Monday, November 23, 2009:

The catching is slow on the beach and boat. Wonder why? Check out the anemometer – that’s the goofy thing that tells wind speeds. Gusts to 25 and gusting. We’re back into the total-honk mode – and, no surprise, it’s out of the northeast. It’s no biggy of a storm, per se, but it’s a couple fishing days thrown into the crapper. By midweek, things will quiet quickly via light south winds, then another blow, a break, then east and north blow. By the end of the week west w… Continue

Sat. Nov. 21, 09 -- Burst of boat bass, north and south.

It’s that humbling time of the year where I ask for donations to keep this blog up and running. It is a time consuming enterprise but I enjoy it. It’s kinda therapeutic.
